Apprehending Fleeing Suspects Is A Must Read For New Cops

Jack's BookThe Albuquerque Police Department Training Academy made Apprehending Fleeing Suspects a mandatory read for all of our police cadets. The importance of a collaborative effort on the part of S.W.A.T., K-9, Air support, and patrol cannot be overstated. The decision to pursue or contain is vital, and we feel this needs to be ingrained at the cadet level. A.P.D. purchased fifty books for our library here at the Academy. We are issuing the books to each cadet and collecting them prior to their graduation. They'll have dog eared pages and worn covers in no time.
